Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on the 31st of January 1974. Her most well-known role is as Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk is a Canadian actress who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. The daughter of Peter an academic as well as Ilkay Silk, an acclaimed actress director producer playwright educator as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall the earliest moments of her life, including attending rehearsals and watching of shows. Silk was featured in many commercials as a young child. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk was moved to Toronto, Canada in November of 1999 in order to pursue her acting. Then she moved into Los Angeles California during the next decade. Silk met her spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's training located in Los Angeles in 2007. In December 2009 they married in a civil wedding ceremony. When she converted to Judaism the couple renew their vows in a Jewish ceremony on 10 April 2011, in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron, her second child was born May 13, in 2016. Silk's TV work has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. The role was assigned to her of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was expecting while shooting the final season of the third series. She announced the pregnancy to the viewers in the Showcase Season Three pre-show special of January 6, 2013. Silk, who has been working on Lost Girl since the season's third finale episode was conceived on January 6 2013. She announced via Twitter her readiness to return on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. The CNN Cable News Network named her performance as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top TV Couples. E! named them the Top Television Couple for 2013.
